Management Change in Langebæk – Appoints Co-CEOs

As Peter Gyldendal, Langebæk A/S’s long-time CEO, steps down from his position after more than 20 years, Anders Bartholin and Lars Bek Jensen have been appointed as the company’s new leadership duo. The transition comes at a time when Langebæk is performing strongly and is well-positioned for the next phase of its development.

Peter Gyldendal has served as CEO since 2005 and has focused in recent years on strengthening the organization and laying the groundwork for Langebæk’s future growth. With the company in a strong position, he believes the time is right for a well-planned leadership transition. The new leadership duo will divide responsibilities, with Anders Bartholin taking on the role of Head of Operations and Lars Bek Jensen serving as Head of Commercial.

“Peter has played an important role in Langebæk’s development. The board is deeply grateful for his significant contributions and is equally confident that the leadership model now being established with Anders Bartholin and Lars Bek Jensen will provide both continuity and a strong foundation for the future. Peter Gyldendal will support a smooth and orderly transition and will continue to serve as a member of the board,” says Peter Midtgaard, chairman of the board at Langebæk.

Continuity in Strategy and Values
The leadership transition will not result in any change to Langebæk’s strategic direction. The company will continue to invest in its employees and maintain the high standards that define its services. Langebæk will also maintain its market focus, build on its strong reputation, and continue to create long-term value for its customers.

The new structure is designed to strengthen both operational and commercial leadership while providing a solid foundation for Langebæk’s next phase of development.

– We accept this responsibility with great respect for the foundation that has been built up over the years. At the same time, we look forward to continuing Langebæk’s development together with our colleagues, customers, and partners, and to building on the strong market position the company has established,” said Anders Bartholin and Lars Bek Jensen in a joint statement.

Langebæk was founded in 1977 and is a Scandinavian consulting firm specializing in logistics and supply chain management. The company has more than 45 employees at offices in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, with its headquarters in Allerød, Denmark.
