Största ökningen av iot-investeringar i supply chain och logistik

Analysfirman Forrester förutspår att investeringar i IoT-teknik till största delen kommer att ske inom supply chain management och logistik. Inom området track and trace bedöms IoT-investeringarna öka med 24,2 % under den kommande fyraårsperioden. Under samma period beräknas IoT-investeringarna för kontroll över tillgängliga produkter i lager och försörjningsflöden att öka med drygt 20 %. Forrester förutspår att de totala globala IoT-investeringarna kommer att öka från 186 miljarder USD 2017 till 435 miljarder USD 2023, (Supply Chain Dive). Enligt Forrester är de ledande spelarna för teknikutvecklingen inom IoT: Accenture, Atos, Deloitte, HCL och IBM.
