Adlibris Prepares for the Future with an Automated Logistics Initiative—Suppliers on Board

Adlibris is expanding its operations in Morgongåva and investing in the latest technology for logistics automation. Agreements have now been signed with Element Logic, SGA, and Nöjd AB to enable greater delivery accuracy and even more efficient logistics.

After signing a 10-year agreement with Företagsparken in Morgongåva for new facilities, construction is underway, and the facility is expected to be operational in 2025. This initiative is a strategic investment aimed at building a cutting-edge logistics solution and thereby solidifying Adlibris’s position as one of the leading e-retailers in the Nordic region. To this end, Adlibris has chosen to sign agreements with Element Logic for an Autostore solution for order-picking automation, with SGA for modern conveyor systems, and with Nöjd AB for the best possible packing automation.

– Our long-standing and successful partnership with SGA and Nöjd AB has been essential to our effective and sustainable e-commerce operations, and we are delighted to continue growing together. By choosing Element Logic, we gain a proven, experienced, and flexible automation provider that will enable us to offer our customers an even better, top-class delivery experience. “This investment strengthens our position as one of the leading e-retailers in the Nordic region and the largest bookstore,” says Jonas Karlén, CEO of Adlibris.

The newly built facility will be equipped with highly automated and modern logistics solutions that will enable optimized logistics flows.

“Adlibris is an impressive player in the book retail industry, and we are very excited to support them on their continued journey and growth. “Through warehouse automation with AutoStore, they will be able to increase their efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction,” says Benny Thögersen, Managing Director at Element Logic Sweden.

Since 2017, SGA has been supplying track systems to Adlibris.

“This will be one of our larger facilities, where we’ll provide efficient package handling and good ergonomics for Adlibris’ employees,” says Emanuel Mäkinen, CEO of SGA.

Packaging specialist Nöjd is also pleased and proud of the expanded partnership with Adlibris.

“We are very proud that our partnership with Adlibris is being expanded and extended with the introduction of these new package lockers. Adlibris’s high standards for modern and efficient logistics are exactly what we want to deliver,” said Thomas Nöjd, CEO of Nöjd AB.
