Geek+, a global specialist in mobile robotics and intelligent automation, has been selected to supply 165 shelf-to-person robots to Yusen Logistics’ 1.2 million-square-meter distribution center in Northampton, United Kingdom. The solution is designed to handle both B2B and B2C flows for both refrigerated and room-temperature items.

The scalable solution will be rolled out in two distinct phases to ensure continuity throughout the implementation. For Yusen Logistics, the implementation is part of a broader digitalization strategy aimed at increasing efficiency and responsiveness throughout the business. Goods-to-Person robots enable a rapid return on investment, reduced reliance on labor, and high safety standards.

The implementation will be delivered as part of a broader warehouse automation project led by automation expert Logistex, ensuring seamless integration with Yusen’s infrastructure and business processes.
