Even though summer is still in full swing, it’s time to start looking ahead to the two major Swedish logistics events this fall. On October 1–2, Logistics & Automation will take place at Kistamässan in Stockholm—and, just like in previous years, the trade show will be held concurrently with the Empack packaging trade show. Just over a month later, on November 4–5, it’s time for Logistics & Transport at Svenska Mässan in Gothenburg.
Since its inception in 1999, Logistik & Transport has established itself as an annual gathering for professionals working in logistics, transportation, and supply chain management. This year’s trade show and conference is even larger than last year’s, with over 100 exhibitors and an impressive conference program featuring many high-profile speakers at the top management level, including DSV CEO Jens H Lund, Willy’s CEO Nicholas Pettersson, Maria Rang, CEO of Consafe Logistics, and SSI Schäfer’s Nordic Director Malin Schäfer—just to name a few of the heavyweights.
Four performances on the open stage
Four sessions featuring Supply Chain Effect. In addition, a variety of interesting and pressing topics will be discussed on the Logistik & Transport open stage. Supply Chain Effect is participating in the stage program with four different sessions focusing on the most interesting logistics trends right now: sustainability and resilience, AI and analytics, logistics automation, and the pursuit of maximum flexibility. International Flavor at Logistics & Automation Logistics & Automation is an international trade show and networking event held in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, and—for the past few years—in Stockholm as well. The trade show places a strong emphasis on automation, intralogistics, and other innovative technologies that help optimize flows, reduce costs, and streamline the supply chain. The exhibition floor also has an international flavor, featuring exhibitors from about ten countries. By co-locating Logistics & Automation with the Empack packaging trade show, the organizer aims to create a unique, comprehensive experience where the entire value chain is brought together under one roof.
“We see strength in bringing together the entire value chain, from smart packaging to intralogistics and advanced warehouse automation. By bringing these together, we’re creating a comprehensive and dynamic hub that drives innovation and development in European logistics and packaging,” says Vincent Lind, project manager for Logistics & Automation in Stockholm.
