The technology group Körber Supply Chain, that provides advanced warehouse automation solutions to some of the world's largest companies, has appointed Andreas Gabriel as the new CEO of the Group's Danish operations. Andreas Gabriel succeeds Hans-Henrik Jensen, who is stepping down from the position at his own request after eight years.
With more than 25 years of international leadership experience, Andreas Gabriel has a strong background in operational excellence, M&A, and digital transformation. He most recently served as CFO of Körber’s Supply Chain business unit and has previously held leadership positions at companies including Hexagon Geosystems, the Bühler Group, and Hitachi.
– We are pleased to welcome Andreas as the new CEO of our Danish operations. His strategic vision and leadership experience make him the ideal choice to lead the organization into its next chapter. I look forward to seeing how his approach will help us strengthen our market position and accelerate our growth,” says Andrea Bozzato, Executive Vice President EMEA for Körber Supply Chain.
Significant growth
The Danish division of the Körber Group has experienced several record years and has grown in step with increasing customer demand, which has led to significant growth in its order backlog. To meet this demand, the company is currently in the process of hiring more than 40 new employees in Denmark.
– My first task will be to ensure that our operations are fully prepared to fulfill the large order backlog. At the same time, I am convinced that the company has the potential for further growth with our intelligent solutions for warehouse automation and logistics, where we are already leading the way with advanced digital solutions based on AI. “We will explore how we can strengthen our own digital transformation to achieve an even stronger position in the future,” says Andreas Gabriel.
