Peak Performance to Nowaste Logistics

The sportswear company Peak Performance has decided to move its logistics operations from Copenhagen to Helsingborg, as Nowaste Logistics takes over the company’s warehouse and inventory management. Through an omni-channel solution, Peak Performance will use this new facility to reach all stores, e-retailers, and e-commerce customers across EMEA.

Peak Performance was founded in the mid-1980s and has grown over the years into a company with a presence in over 20 countries; it is owned by Amer Sports, a global leader that also owns brands such as Wilson and Salomon. Nowaste Logistics and Peak Performance have already begun their collaboration, and a press release states that Peak Performance has particularly valued Nowaste’s expertise in automation and IT.

“Amer Sports has a reputation for being very meticulous when it comes to logistics, which lends us credibility as a logistics provider. “Amer Sports and Peak Performance have extensive expertise in logistics, so we’ll challenge each other and grow together—we’re looking forward to that,” says Patrik Johnfors, Head of Implementation and Solution Design at Nowaste Logistics.

Helsingborg is ranked as one of Europe’s best logistics locations, with a large container port, proximity to the continent, rail connections, and the two European highways, the E4 and E6. In addition, the city offers university-level logistics education and a long-established body of expertise. Nowaste Logistics has recently received the “Logistics Start-up of the Year” award and the Competensum Prize for its approach to working with and developing its staff.
