For many in the European logistics industry, LogiMAT is the highlight of the year and a key meeting place for supply chain decision-makers. The booths at this year’s trade show were both well-designed and ambitious, often serving as both showcases for innovative products and natural gathering spots for meetings and spontaneous conversations.
The Interaction Between Humans and Machines
While last year’s trade show consisted largely of picking robots, this year’s event also featured a variety of AMR solutions, as well as other solutions and tools that facilitate human-machine interaction in various ways.
AI and Sustainability
Both AI and sustainability were obvious topics on many people’s lips this year, and they were discussed refreshingly often without any vagueness. Although AI—especially machine learning—is used in many of the solutions presented, LogiMAT has been spared the AI hype. Rather, the trade show was characterized by a healthy business-minded approach, where technology is used as an enabler for increased speed, accuracy, precision, and cost-effectiveness.
The industry is looking forward toåwith confidence
We spoke with numerous industry-leading companies, including Knapp, Swisslog, TGW, Zebra Technologies, Gebhardt, Geek+, AutoStore, PTV Logistics, Element Logic, and SSI Schäfer—to name a few. They all express optimism about the future and a sense that market demand is returning to the levels seen a few years ago.
Voices from the trade show floor
LogiMAT 2025 sends a clear signal that the industry is back in full force. The market is on the move, with technology and business opportunities coming together in an inspiring and optimistic atmosphere as we look toward the future, where there is a positive outlook on upcoming developments.

”It’s all about the quality of the conversations”
– For the first time this year, we’re highlighting our foundation’s background, as it’s an important part of TGW Logistics. Sustainability and social responsibility are becoming increasingly central, both for us and our customers. At LogiMAT, it’s about the quality of the conversations, not the quantity. It’s a European trade show, and we see that visitors are coming from all over the Nordic region and Germany. That’s a testament to how important the show is. We’ve had a couple of very valuable meetings here this year, and many good conversations,”, Jan Willem Klinkenberg, Director of Business Development at TGW Northern Europe and Regional Manager for TGW Benelux.

”The trade show is extremely important to us”
– At this year’s trade show, we’re launching our new robotic palletizing system. The German market was a bit sluggish last year, so this trade show is extremely important to us. It shows that we’re growing and thinking innovatively. The Nordic market has made a strong comeback compared to last year. The German market is also starting to recover, and there’s definitely interest. It’s a great feeling here this year. And as you can see, our booth is packed, he notes. Sebastian Lundh, Managing Director for the Nordics, Gebhardt Intralogistics Group.

”Expanding our presence in the Nordic region”
– Traffic at our booth has been consistently high this year, which shows just how much interest there is. We have an extensive product lineup, which I don’t think the Nordic market has fully grasped yet. It’s going to be an exciting year as we focus on further expanding our presence in the Nordic region, says Malin Schäfer, who has been CEO of SSI Schäfer's Nordic operations for the past six months.
””Fantastic trade show"
– “It’s gone really well, and we’ve had a fantastic trade show. We’ve had many visits from existing customers and received positive feedback. The sales team reports that visitors who come with pre-scheduled meetings stay longer, and the conversations are both longer and more in-depth,” says Steve Mulroy, Warehouse T&L Vertical Marketing Manager, Zebra Technologies.
