Blue Equity Becomes a Partner in LangebÆk

Blue Equity is entering into a partnership with Langebæk A/S and acquiring a minority stake in one of Scandinavia’s leading consulting firms specializing in supply chain management, logistics, and warehousing.

The existing partners—Peter Gyldendal, Lars Bek Jensen, Anders Bartholin, Christoph Ohly, and John Carstens—will continue as major shareholders. At the same time, a new board of directors will be formed, consisting of Peter Midtgaard as chairman and Roar Brun Jensen as a member. Langebæk A/S was founded in 1977 and currently has nearly 40 employees at its offices in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. The consulting firm serves as an advisor at the strategic and operational levels, drawing on facts, analyses, and well-proven processes to assist companies in Northern Europe. In this way, Langebæk leverages its 45 years of experience in value-creating solutions to deliver measurable improvements in individual functions across the entire supply chain. Its clients include companies such as: Coop, Rema 1000, Salling Group, Jysk, Matas, Novo Nordisk, Elgiganten, Axfood, Elektroskandia, Brødrene Dahl, Lyko, as well as a wide range of airports and public institutions, including the Danish Armed Forces, regions, municipalities, and several hospitals.

– We look forward to working with Blue Equity. They focus on long-term partnerships aimed at the continued development of well-run companies. It has been important for us to find a partner who sees new growth opportunities in the long term. That is why we believe Blue Equity is the right fit for Langebæk. This partnership will allow us to continue Langebæk’s very positive growth trajectory, including our highly skilled employees and unique corporate culture. With Blue Equity, we will have a strong partner that shares our values and ambitions,” says Peter Gyldendal, CEO and Senior Partner at Langebæk.

– Langebæk has great potential for further growth. It is a solid company that, with the right leadership and a team of skilled employees, is ready to take the business to the next level. Our contribution lies in developing leadership, structures, and processes. With this investment in Langebæk, we’re not only joining a well-established company with a strong culture, but we are also investing in a market-leading consulting firm in its field—not to mention the employees at Langebæk, who represent a strong and dedicated team, as well as high levels of customer and employee satisfaction and a strong corporate culture. “We are proud that Langebæk’s management has chosen us as partners, and we look forward to our journey together,” says Christian Møller, Managing Partner at Blue Equity.

Blue Equity is a leading investor in Danish small and medium-sized enterprises, working closely with management to provide networks, expertise, and capital to create added value.
