Anora, the leading Nordic wine and spirits group, has decided to outsource its logistics operations in Sweden to Nowaste Logistics. With this move, Nowaste Logistics continues to accelerate its expansion in beverage logistics and adds Adora to its existing client roster, which includes The Wine & Spirits Collective, Sophronie Wines, and Solera Sweden.
Under the new agreement, Nowaste will handle warehousing and distribution of Anora’s products, starting in the first quarter of 2027. As part of the transition, Anora will wind down its current logistics operations in Brunna.
– We are now embarking on a very exciting and rewarding journey together with Anora. The commitment and strength of our joint efforts will drive progress for the entire beverage logistics sector, particularly in areas such as sustainability and workplace safety, which are key focus areas for both us and Anora. We look forward to continuing the excellent work that Anora’s employees have already built up,” says Johan Kallin, CEO of Nowaste Logistics.
Together with other importers in the area, the increased volume resulting from the agreement with Anora at Nowaste’s facility in Jordbro, south of Stockholm, creates strong conditions for economies of scale and operational efficiency. Anora’s decision to outsource its logistics operations will enable the company to focus on its core business: production, quality and product development, branding, and market development.
“This change will allow us to strengthen our focus on our production facilities and our core areas. Nowaste is a leading logistics provider in the Nordic region with a clear ambition to develop technology and sustainable solutions for the future,” says Hannu Vähämurto, SVP Industrial at Anora.
Nowaste Logistics’ facility in Haninge, just south of Stockholm, has quickly grown from its initial establishment to a phase of expansion. The company has previously signed agreements with several importers in the beverage sector, and with Anora as a new customer, its position is further strengthened. This initiative is part of Nowaste Logistics’ long-term strategy to broaden its third-party logistics offerings and establish a clear position in segments with high demands for traceability, delivery precision, and sustainable handling. As volumes increase, operations in Jordbro are expected to grow significantly, with projections calling for over 100 employees and full capacity at the facility.
