Oriola is transforming its supply chain planning with Relex

Oriola, a leading Nordic player in pharmaceutical distribution and health products, will implement the AI-powered planning tool RELEX, thereby modernizing its supply chain planning. The solution incorporates real-time data, machine learning, and automation, which reduces manual work and improves the accuracy of planning.

– RELEX supports our goal of building a more data-driven, resilient, and flexible supply chain. With better visibility and faster responses to changes in demand, we can optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability for our customers,” says Tuomas Tiilikainen, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Oriola.

The first phase of implementation will focus on replacing legacy tools and harmonizing processes across different markets, followed by expansion into a broader business area and additional functional capabilities. AI-driven demand forecasting will be implemented from day one.

“Step by step, this will strengthen the foundation of Oriola’s supply chain and support our employees, partners, and customers,” says Tiilikainen.

The tool is part of a broader supply chain transformation that supports Oriola’s digital roadmap, including the company’s new ERP and warehouse management systems.

Oriola is a Nordic health and wellness company with operations primarily in Finland and Sweden. Oriola offers services and products that help pharmaceutical companies and suppliers of health and wellness products succeed in the Nordic market through the safe and reliable distribution and use of pharmaceuticals and health and wellness products.
