Rexel Sweden, one of Sweden’s leading electrical wholesalers, is now taking the next step in its logistics development and building a brand-new, automated warehouse in Mölnlycke. The initiative is a greenfield project in which 60 percent of the product flow will be handled via an automation solution supplied and integrated by Element Logic.
Rexel is an existing customer of Element Logic and already has an AutoStore facility in Stockholm; the decision to continue the collaboration on this new initiative is a testament to a successful partnership.

Thousands of electricians and installers visit Rexel’s online store every day, and the new automated facility will play a key role in strengthening the company’s presence in southern Sweden by providing faster, safer, and more efficient deliveries to its professional customers.
An efficient, space-efficient, and scalable automation solution
Today, Rexel’s warehouse in Lilla Edet is operated manually. With the new facility in Mölnlycke, the company is taking a major step toward the logistics of the future. It is a significant investment in which the entire material flow is being designed for automation from the ground up. Element Logic is the total system integrator for the project and is responsible for system design, implementation, and future support.
In addition to the AutoStore solution, conveyor systems and automated solutions for erecting and sealing cartons will be installed, creating an efficient and seamless flow from receipt of goods to the finished order. The software used is Element Logic’s software platform, including eManager for order flow optimization, eController for real-time control and maximum uptime, and eLogiq for analysis and monitoring.
