On November 4–5, the logistics and transportation industry will gather at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Center in Gothenburg for the annual Logistik & Transport event. This year’s edition is expected to be the largest yet, with a record number of exhibitors and a packed program.
This is where the industry’s leading players, researchers, politicians, and decision-makers come together to discuss trends, challenges, and solutions that are shaping the future of logistics and transportation. In addition to the extensive exhibition, the trade show offers a rich conference and stage program. One of the most popular features is the open stage, where visitors can attend presentations and discussions on hot topics in the industry free of charge. November 4: Global Trade Challenges – Consequences for the Supply Chain and Logistics
On Tuesday, November 4, at 10:00 a.m., on the open stage, we will moderate a discussion on the challenges facing global trade. Geopolitical tensions, new trade barriers, and disruptions in international supply chains are making the issue of resilience increasingly central. We’ll focus on the most important trends and their impact on both Swedish and international companies. November 5: ”Dirty, Dull, Dangerous, and Dear” – The Future of Warehousing
On Wednesday, November 5, at 12:30 p.m., Supply Chain Effect returns to the Open Stage with a look into the future of warehouse operations. Under the heading ”Dirty, Dull, Dangerous, and Dear,” the session will discuss how new technology, automation, and sustainability requirements are changing the role of the warehouse. The focus will be on how to address labor shortages, cost pressures, and increased sustainability requirements—and on the opportunities to make warehouse work more attractive and efficient.
