The delivery management/TMS company Unifaun is once again changing hands. Since 2016, Unifaun has been owned by the private equity firm Vitruvian Partners, which recently announced that it has entered into an agreement with Marlin Equity Partners to sell its stake in Unifaun.
– Unifaun has a very strong reputation for innovative cloud solutions for players in the transportation sector’s ecosystem. Vitruvian has actively supported us in our growth in Europe, while we have maintained our strong position in our core Nordic markets. We now look forward to continuing our journey with the support of Marlin,” says Leif Bohlin, CEO of Unifaun.
Unifaun is by far the largest provider of TA/TMS systems in the Nordic region and is expanding purposefully throughout the rest of Europe. In 2019, Unifaun acquired its Dutch industry peer Transsmart, thereby expanding its presence in the Benelux and DACH regions. Unifaun has approximately 200 employees in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Poland. Marlin Equity Partners is headquartered in Los Angeles, USA, and has a European office in London. Marlin primarily invests in tech companies with strong growth potential.
