IPTOR GETS NEW OWNERS – TAKES THE NEXT STEP IN ITS GROWTH JOURNEY

Iptor (formerly IBS) announced in a press release that the company’s shares are being acquired by the German investment firm Bregal Unternehmerkapital, as well as by the company’s CEO, Jayne Archbold, and Christopher Catterfeld, CMO/CPO. Iptor specializes in providing ERP and software solutions for distribution, supply chain management, planning, and logistics.

Over the past three years, Iptor has undergone a comprehensive transformation led by Jayne Archbold and Christopher Catterfeld. Formerly known as IBS, the company has rebranded as Iptor; its operations have been repositioned, and its product portfolio has been expanded through the launch of the aperīo platform. In 2018 alone, Iptor’s sales of licenses and subscriptions increased by 150 %, and its focus on cloud-based solutions has borne fruit. Iptor has nearly 200 customers using the cloud solutions offered through the company’s strategic partner, IBM.

Iptor CEO Jayne Archbold said in a statement that this positive development is the result of the company’s skilled employees and loyal customers. With Bregal Unternehmerkapital as its owner, Iptor can take the next step and accelerate its growth journey, strengthen its position in the Technical Wholesale, Pharma, and Publishing sectors, expand its geographic presence, and make necessary acquisitions.
