Nelly automates

Nelly Group AB (Nelly) is moving its warehouse from Falkenberg to Borås in 2021 to consolidate its operations and enhance collaboration. To improve efficiency and become more energy-efficient, Nelly has decided to automate the new warehouse using an AutoStore system, designed and supplied by Element Logic.

Nelly's investment in the automation and conveyor system totals 84 million kronor, and the initiative is expected to lead to increased efficiency and greater delivery accuracy.

– Nelly is one of the Nordic region’s strongest fashion brands for young women. We’re building on our Nelly culture by bringing our operations together in Borås in modern facilities. Our 1.2 million customers make over 2.8 million purchases per year, which places high demands on our logistics. Next year, we’ll take our logistics to the next level with a new automated warehouse that will increase efficiency and facilitate fast and accurate deliveries,” says Kristina Lukes, CEO of Nelly since the start of 2020.
The AutoStore system is a modular and flexible automation solution that includes battery-powered robots, storage bins, operator gates, and an aluminum frame, where each order is processed at high speed using robots that transport the bins to and from picking stations.

Nelly is one of the Nordic region’s strongest fashion brands for young women. At its core is its own brand, combined with direct digital sales to our target audience. Nelly has built strong customer loyalty through a distinct sense of fashion and digital marketing. The company has 2.1 million customers and generates annual revenue of 1.4 billion Swedish kronor. Nelly Group was formerly known as Qliro Group. Nelly Group is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm in the mid-cap segment under the ticker symbol ”NELLY.”.
